PG and E, BP : Welcome to the Zoo

This latest tragedy in San Bruno brings back so many bad memories and angers me a great deal. Once again the spin begins I would not be surprised if the master slinger Sam Singer is handling the PR for PU G and E. The news coverage of the unfortunate folks that perished and were burnt in this unnecessary fiasco was heart breaking in deed. Not to single any one victim; but the death of the 13 year old catholic school girl was especially sad. By all accounts a future leader ripped from our collective embrace and burnt to death at the hands of a disconnected and heartless corporation that cares only for profit and bottom line. Now the burning question here is who is going to face charges on this blunder. The death count is somewhere around 7 with the remains of another family being sifted through now; Who will be charged with the murder of these people, a child? No one that's who. the Reason is: in this system we have allowed to evolve, holds only the disconnected the poor or people of color accountable . It is very rare to see a rich and powerful company like PG and E held up to criminal charges. This is a clear case of involuntary manslaughter and the person or people responsible need to charged tried and made to defend them selves with out making us the rate payers pony up the fees.
